US military trashes unwanted gear in Afghanistan, sells as scrap

Reminds me of pictures of Huey's being pushed off a ship into the South China Sea.

Sad brother Robert, guess they weigh the costs of shipping it all back.

Sounds about right, that was the plan when I was over there in 2014, Obama had 4 plans he was looking at and one was total pull out, so the military if that plan was enacted was to line up MRAMPs and blow them up and sell them for scrap metal. Basically they were not going to pay to ship most of the stuff over them back to the states.
