Did you know there is a significant engineering credibility and it has been published by several prominent Doctors of Engineering. https://cei.org/op-eds-and-articles/asbestos-fireproofing-might-have-prevented-world-trade-center-collapse Asbestos is the most readily available thermal barrier available which is why it is still used in many industries today. It does cause cancer, which is why it isn't used in commercial and residential applications. The remaining six points are highly subjective and the opinions of their writers, not really worth comment.

You do realize (Trump doesn't) they used asbestos in the towers. It was not banned until 1989, limited in 1979 and th towers were completed it 1972.
One of the reasons the 'First Responders' are dying all that and the other crap in the air.

MSgt Michael Bischoff Do you have a source for that claim, it's not accurate?

The initial material used for most of the fireproofing (later withdrawn because it contained asbestos) was a mineral fiber formulation consisting of about 20 percent chrysotile asbestos, 60 to 65 percent mineral wool, and the remainder made of gypsum and Portland cement binder. This was sprayed on structural steel up to the 36th floor and parts of the 37th and 38th floors of the North Tower.

Above this point in the North Tower, and for the entire structure of the South Tower, the spray was an asbestos-free successor to the original product consisting of mineral wool and binder. These formulations were applied to core columns, the outside face of the exterior walls and columns, the long-span steel joists (trusses) that supported the concrete floors, and trench headers for the underfloor raceway system.

Read the link, Asbestos was used during initial construction, but it was limited to the lower floors, then they switched to a gypsum fire retardant, Asbestos was not in the top floors where the fires were.

Are you kidding me? It was awful! I will never get that 3 minutes of my life back. A terrible opinion piece with sources that were less than creditable. Every one of those arguments could be refuted by a 5th grader with Google.
