And yet the Republican block an investigation so they can continue to peddle their bullshit, so perhaps "truth" is not what is at the top of their agenda.
Jim Wright said it better than I can:
"Senate Democrats conceded to every single Republican demand, and yet Republicans STILL blocked creation of a commission to investigate January 6th.
For two reasons:
1) Because Republicans are disingenuous, faithless shitbags who are pathologically unable to govern or deal in good faith.
2) Because they're guilty of sedition, treason, and insurrection and they goddamned well know it.
There is no such thing as bipartisanship any more.
Nuke the filibuster and bring these criminals to justice."

a violent uprising against an authority or government.
"the insurrection was savagely put down"
So, rioters across the country do not constitute "armed insurrection"?
I'm sorry - you lost the right to decry this act by turning a blind eye to more than a year of VIOLENT INSURRECTION by Antifa and BLM.
