Thanks for posting this article. I knew of the 19th Amendment but thought it covered all races, not just white.

Sad, what minority women were subjected to even after this was passed.

It did - but this was in the middle of the Jim Crow voting laws (which impacted Black men just as much). It wasn’t until the Voting Rights Act in 1965 that all the Jim Crow laws were removed.
