Interesting article sir. The numbers reported graphically in the presentation didn't seem that high but there is no doubt many dies due to a lack of available oxygen. I asked a Hindu friend of mine if he has family back in the country and what his opinion of the problem is. He explained to me that while India has supply problems the biggest problem is their class system, their lower classes just aren’t doing what they should because they don’t believe what they are being told. There are many complex issues that may affect life in India. Interviewing some India engineers over the years I can say they have a different outlook on life than we do.

The Caste System Explained - Fact / Myth
India's caste system is a class system based on birth. These classes, or "Varnas," are Brahmins (priests), Kshatriyas (ruling and military), Vaishyas (merchants and farmers), Shudras (peasants), Dalits (untouchables).
