Army National Guard to Halt Re-Up Bonuses Amid Sky-High Retention

That’s a lie. It’s because if they don’t halt them they’re going to run out of money.

Here’s the real reason they’re cutting the bonuses. The “sky high retention” thing is BS. I’ve seen more people leaving in the last year than at any time during my 15 years.

I do not agree with that policy. I have always felt if I were to cause something that could help or hurt soldiers, I tended to lean on let's try to help soldiers. In this case the NG is not following the spirit of what I just mentioned. They have taken something positive away from the soldiers.
