Exactly my point! CRT is an academic viewpoint like Freudian literary theory, Queer theory, deconstruction, etc. The theory is not being taught to children, it is a subject often studied in colleges. Any discussion on racism must deal with how laws, Jim Crow, were used to segregate and subjugate people of color, else one is "whitewashing" history. Excuse the pun.

"Earlier, Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin smacked down Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., after he asserted that an Austin advisor is a “critical race theorist,” and that his sources told him Austin’s efforts to educate the force on extremism were sowing more division than unity."
