Add ontop of this that many who insist that racism doesn't meaningfully exist can't point out why the Jim Crow laws were racist.

What are reasons number 1 and 2? Not being a smartass about this, just wondering what the first two reasons are in your thinking.
CRT is actually the study of the social construction of race and whether/how that social construction was perpetrated within the legal system thus creating the institutional racism which still permeates society. Jim Crow laws are just part of the laws within the legal which are studied.

Reason #1 was antiSemitic legislation in Germany during the 1930s-40s and reason 2 was the 3/5 clause in America

A1C Chris Pointer - It is an effort to deconstruct a collective of peoples in order to murder them psychosocially/mortification and even literally at the end stage of this process.
