"Even if the FDA did grant Pfizer’s booster EUA, health authorities would have to decide whether they’re really needed, Dr. William Schaffner, a vaccine expert at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, told the Associated Press, ..."
As a microbiologist by education and having taught immunology and microbiology, having a booster available is a "good thing." Does not mean you HAVE to get it but if you and your primary care health provider think it is warranted---such as folks who are immunocompromised or have other health issues that make them more susceptible to the disease---it would be good to have it available as an option.

There is a grave misunderstanding that the media is exacerbating and leveraging public health as a political tool....an Emergency Use Authorization on Covid-19 does NOT mean it is experimental or brand new...we have worked on this at least since 2003 and now tens of millions have taken the vaccine with little more than being slightly uncomfortable to slightly sick from the immune response but NOT Covid-19.

Thank you Lt Col Charlie Brown Also for those of us who live with someone who cannot take the vaccine it is crucial that we provide a home where they aren't panicking someone will bring this terrible disease home to them every time they walk in the door. If offered I will certainly be one of the first in line.
