Yes they do possess 2 A rights. Whether they are mature enough is another thing.

At one time. responsibility was something taught at home. I was taught from a very young age of the dangers of mishandling a firearm. Most kids no longer get disciplined by parents and do not understand consequences.

A lot of comments on this ruling express concerns about age and maturity. IMHO, it's culture and training. Again, IMHO, we 2A folks have to resist this bent toward infancy extending into late 20's, and set expectations of maturity, self control and responsibility at every age level.

I agree. However, expectations are one thing - oversight to see that expectations are being met, is another.

Amen. If your old enough to enter the service and defend our country then your old enough to carry a gun. The state of Oklahoma recognizes that fact and allows 18 year olds that are in the military or National guard to carry without a license as were constitutional carry, this includes long guns.
