Rates are going to go up for energy costs as we slowly move from oil ot renewable. Costs will go up on oil as well due to OPAC. More demand than supply.

In my opinion (it is actually a fact) gas needs to be at 4 or 5 dollars a gallon for intermitted energy sources (wind and solar) to be competitive in price with oil and gas; therefore they will do anything to drive the price of energy up.

SFC (Join to see) You're quite right in your assessment. Gas will raise dramatically to a certain price point then slowly creep up over time to drive consumers away from gas to the alternatives won't happen over night but as they collect taxes on gas to go towards paying for the installment of alternatives. In my area I'm already seeing slowly charging stations being installed at Sunco's and a regional convince store called wawa. Wawa is offering tesla stations and third party stations whole still keeping same amount of gas pumps.
