Here's some MLK quotes as well:

“A nation that continues year after year to spend more money on military defense than on programs of social uplift is approaching spiritual death.”

—A Time to Break the Silence: April 4, 1967

The evils of capitalism are as real as the evils of militarism and racism. The problems of racial injustice and economic injustice cannot be solved without a radical redistribution of political and economic power. - King to the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC) board on March 30, 1967.

“…the price that America must pay for the continued oppression of the Negro and other minority groups is the price of its own destruction.”

—The American Dream: July 4, 1965

“White Americans must recognize that justice for black people cannot be achieved without radical changes in the structure of our society.”

—Where Do We Go from Here? 1967

“Whites, it must frankly be said, are not putting in a similar mass effort to reeducate themselves out of their racial ignorance. It is an aspect of their sense of superiority that the white people of America believe they have so little to learn. The reality of substantial investment to assist Negroes into the twentieth century, adjusting to Negro neighbors and genuine school integration, is still a nightmare for all too many white Americans…These are the deepest causes for contemporary abrasions between the races. Loose and easy language about equality, resonant resolutions about brotherhood fall pleasantly on the ear, but for the Negro there is a credibility gap he cannot overlook. He remembers that with each modest advance the white population promptly raises the argument that the Negro has come far enough. Each step forward accents an ever-present tendency to backlash.”

A1C Mike Allen - I did!
"Someone should explain to LTC Charlie Brown the meaning of the word traitor."

She was using the word in the wrong context. Traitor does not apply to the subject at hand.

From the article:
"that include language often associated with critical race theory,"
So, this is just Faux News spinning the facts, just like using the phrase "some people," or "many people."

Knowing our history is essential. Critical race theory is one item in that history.

LTC David Brown - "forced to deal with the garbage."

Please enlighten us, just what "garbage" are you talking about?

Equal right? Social justice? A fair and level playing field?

also:
"It usually ends up if you are white you are the privileged “bad” person."

That is pure horse nuggets!

MSG Stan Hutchison - MSG Hutchison how many CRT classes have you attended? I will try to find her again, but Maude Maron ( sp) is a liberal New York public defender. When attending one f the classes her whole existence came down to being a “white women “. She refused to play and was labeled a racist. I have two friends who are school teachers, one getting advanced certification. In order to graduate she has to take CRT, it comes down to racism from whites etc. The other friend reports pretty much the same thing. https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-9782647/Public-defender-claims-forced-job-Legal-Aid-Society-McCarthy-style-attack.html

LTC David Brown - LTC, you are certainly entitled to your opinion. I disagree with it. My opinion. I have been involved in Civil rights for over 50 years, included my 21 years on active duty with Uncle Sam's finest. I have a pretty strong base for my opinions.

A1C Mike Allen -

Well a pick me girl: "According to Urban Dictionary, the official source for all things internet lingo, a pick-me girl is “a girl who seeks male validation by indirectly or directly insinuating that she is 'not like the other girls."

Pick me guy: "A guy who uses self depreciation in a manipulative way so a girl will date him. They will say bad things about themselves to try to get the girl to oppose what they've said."

Pick me when it comes to black people are those who are trying to seek validation from white people and will throw other POC under the bus just to get that approval and validation.
