Why not? They qualify for combat roles now. feminism won! they want equality, they got it. Now they need to register for the draft! To have complete equality.

Interesting that many of the comments have a derogatory "There! Got what you asked for!" flavor.

Bothersome.

Nice thing about being human is that you can hold two opposing views (opinions) at once without conflict. As a draftee myself, IF THERE IS TO BE A DRAFT, (and that's whole, 'nother argument) I have no problem with men shouldering that load. However, I also believe that those women who have the desire, and who can meet the criteria expected of men, should be welcomed into the uniform if they so choose. But I stop short of drafting women.
