Science for Mask Reversal Probably Doesn't Exist, Says Harvard Med School Prof

A prominent Ivy League infectious disease expert told Fox News on Friday morning that new federal government guidelines about wearing masks are not backed up by any science, and it’s sure to anger the pro-mask crowd.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention this week updated its guidance regarding mask-wearing, and actually advised vaccinated Americans to go back to wearing face coverings in some settings. Since then, talks surrounding mask and vaccine mandates, new lockdowns and school closures have taken over media coverage, despite the fact that fewer people are dying from COVID right now than at any point since the coronavirus pandemic began.
The recommendation is a real head-scratcher, and the only information provided regarding the change in tone from the CDC came from a study from India which did not take into account any data from American COVID cases, or American vaccines.

So many different sources of information to weed through to somehow manage to get to the truth!! Somewhere in time, science and politics will have to come together…and unless there’s a break through, like there was with smallpox, we’ll be subject to some form of COVID, for sometime to come with mask or no mask

Exactly right. And look at Tokyo. The majority of their folks wear masks, it's part of the culture and still the virus spreads. Taking a vaccine and probably an annual shot like the flu is what is in our future.

What is Covid 19, it's essentially a flu vitus and will continue to morph, like any other flu virus. Masks are not an answer. The majority of mask that people wear get damp relatively rapidly, then they are virtually worthless. Thus, the reason surgical staffs change masks between cases and even during longer procedures.
