The only surprise here for me was the presence of Infiniti. I've owned a few Infinitis over the years and found them to be exceptional is every respect. Indeed, I purchased my first one (an I-35 while under contract at Toyota and caught some hell for that, but I have never been a fan of Lexus) That being said, I haven't bought a current model and even the best brands have been known to produce lemons. My current car is a Mazda CX-30 Turbo with AWD and I am sincerely delighted. Unlike Toyota and Infiniti, Mazda doesn't have a luxury brand to badge its upgraded cars and the CX-30 certainly deserves one. Mazda, in my opinion, is one of the most overlooked brands on the market and I recommend people take a look at them when buying a new car. They're well worth considering

I agree about Mazda although I've never owned one. My brother-in-law started with a pickup back in the 70s and has owned nothing but Mazda since.

Lt Col John (Jack) Christensen - My first was an RX-7 with the Wankel Engine. Many had problems with seals on that engine. I didn't. My problem was keeping my foot off the gas. Damn, that thing was fast...

CPT Jack Durish - My first brand new vehicle purchase was an RX-8. It was fun and comfortable. Sold it as I moved into the Jeep world.
