Chaplain Delbert Hansen’s New Prescription For Life
What is it, you may ask? To begin with, I must tell you who Chaplain Hansen was and how I came to know his new prescription for life. Chaplain Delbert Hansen was a VA chaplain that I met about 10 years as he served at the Cheyenne, Wyoming VA Regional Medical Center. It was an instant friendship as almost every week Chaplain Delbert would approach me with a few words of wisdom and tell me, “Now make that into a poem, Son”. One day, he told me his New Prescription for Life must be made into a poem. When I asked what it was, he told me three letters…” D.F.W.”. “D.F.W.” I said? I was confused. He then explained, “Yes, Dallas Fort Worth Airport.”.
I must have looked as confused as you do right now, but if you are confused now, just tune in Wednesday night to get the whole explanation …. See You There!!

Write your own prescription. Write a note to be happy and content. Stay away from things that can harm you physically, mentally and emotionally
