An F-35 pilot’s helmet costs more than a Ferrari and takes two days to get fitted

That's what I call "Situational Awareness" on steroids. The bleeding-edge of technology does not come cheap, but either does air dominance/superoirity. The technology will get better with time and the pilot will be able to pig-out if he/she wants. They'll also be able to have any hair style the choose (within regs). Excellence comes with a price tag... but it does go down over time. Thanks SSG Robert Mark Odom
