LTC Vincent Moore Supreme Court backed Indiana University's requirement for vaccinations.

"Supreme Court Justice Amy Coney Barrett denied an appeal from students at Indiana University to block the school’s vaccine mandate. Barrett, who has jurisdiction over the appeals court involved in the case, denied the students request for an injunction against Indiana University’s vaccine mandate on her own."

Although we don’t get any insight into the reasoning, I suspect it is predominantly based on the premise that IU has the freedom to make their own rules and that the students have the freedom to take their business elsewhere. Furthermore, the IU policy does provide for religious exemptions which seems fair enough. While I do think that the policy itself is inane and unnecessary, I won’t argue with their right to do it and I agree that it probably doesn’t belong in the SCOTUS.

it's not a punishment. the money unvaccinated students will have to pay will cover their weekly testing.

I read the article. Making somebody else pay for your stupid idea makes it worse, not better. Like infrastructure.
