They should, especially with an avaricious government and a Progressive media preaching the ideology of envy.

I agree with you. I am not scared for me, I am done. I am scared for my grandchildren. I don't like the way people these days are teaching envy, that leads to hate. MHO

One other way to retire financially sound, if you have kids, is to opena UGMA account for them after they are born. Have a deposit linked to it monthly. By the time they get ready to go to college, tech school, or just into a job, they will have a very large nest egg to help with expenses.
I did this with my boys, I told them their majority was 21 y/o. Both received the HOPE scholarship in GA. I made a deal I would cover the incidentals if they kept the HOPE. Both graduated wit 0 debt and money in the market. I started an account on each grandchild after they were born.

Doesn't get any better that that sir. You did very well. When my wife and I started taking care of our one granddaughter some 15 years ago, we couldn't afford that. As things work our she isn't thinking about college and is more into trades. We did guide her into setting up a Roth IRA when she started working. If she keeps that going over her life she will do well.
