Veterans Are Prized Recruits as Congressional Candidates

There are currently 91 veterans continuing to serve our country in a new and meaningful way in Congress. Both Republicans and Democrats anticipate a significant number of veterans to run again in 2022, including races where veterans will be opposing each other and even higher numbers of female veterans. It's great to see veterans find a new way to serve others and put the skills they acquired in the military to good use through elected office.

The Veteran community needs to continue stepping up and challenging career politicians. They need to push the issues and win seats in Congress and the Senate in the hopes of turning the ship around to save our Republic!

I don't know if kicking drip pans around a motorpool for a few years makes someone a better politician.
Vets are just people. No better or worse than anyone else. Some of us are great, some of us are garbage, the vast majority are in the middle, just like every other group on the planet.
