I've known for a long time the Police are usually not friends of Veterans. I've watched them harass and incarcerate a few of my friends for defending themselves against a legitimate threat or lock up another veteran for standing up and fighting for a veterans court. That was a friend that they accused if stolen valor, but they couldn't actually charge him with that. I respect law enforcement and believe that they have an important and vital role in our community. However they need to understand and have some sompassion for the men and women who've served in combat and come home with issues from those deployments.
