I don’t have the data to prove my point, but it won’t shut me up. I believe many of our Soldiers and Marines have a greater survival rate due to protective gear compared to previous wars. From a medical perspective I see a duality to people: body and mind. Many bodies will eventually heal to the possible extent, however we can’t protect the brain well. I am by far not an expert on TBIs, but from what little I have seen, I have great sympathy fore those afflicted by TBI.

Neat stuff, but how much weight do they think we can carry???? These designers never carried a full ruck for a day in their lives.

And if you believe the crap you just wrote you are an idiot. You do get that the military works hand in hand with these companies and often more than a few of the people that work to design military hardware are former serving members themselves. And that as part of the various programs they employ former operators to test and evaluate what it is they are hoping to field to the military.

Also quit your bitching. The new improved armor is lighter and more protective than anything we have had before. Of course you can choose to not wear it. Get your next of kin to tell us how that worked out for you.
