I knew several guys that pissed hot and retired as SFCs or 1SGs so for ppl saying a career killer that’s a lie is all up to COC if they like you or not

Popping positive is the fastest way to get out of the military; short of committing a capital-level crime. At the same time though I know someone who popped positive and is still active duty. Another from another unit was quietly (no going away celebration or anything) processed out.

I disagree. I have, as you have, seen many guys get popped and beat the discharge as well as not lose rank. It seems like all they have to do is put up resistance.

God I wish this were true.... Positive drug pops take FOREVER to chapter. They are such a cancer on the Army. Just tumors that metasticize.
