For the left if they don't have a crisis they don't have a platform. Its all about victimhood and marginalizing different demographics in securing a voter base. Crime is just one of the weapons used to do this. Today there is an obsession with oppression - just look at the Tony Awards. It supposed to be about recognizing individuals within Broadway productions yet it is a diatribe on the oppressed.
Professional sports - teams have been rebranded with BLM and kneeling. Social media has silenced anyone who counters the "oppressed" narrative. Politicians have encouraged riots and looting - in the name of the oppressed. Statues removed and history rewritten for the oppressed and so on and so on. All the while the liberal policies do nothing more than to ensure oppression while they live in the million dollar homes with fridges stuffed full of designer ice cream. Somehow they believe their self-righteousness is justified as they wear thousand dollar dresses professing "tax the rich" while they attend galas that cost $35,000 a plate.

It's sad how these super stars like LeBron James talk to tear our Country apart, but fall silent where the true atrocities are happening like in China. For all of James tough talk against his own Country, he is owned lock, stock and barrel be the Chinese. I do believe there is a name for that: traitor: a person who betrays a friend, country, principle, etc..

Anyone who didn't expect this was foolish. I hope this brings down the Democrats behind it.

Their bumper sticker slogans (defund the police, etc.) rarely make good policy, even when they look good on a protest sign or a campaign sticker. But, hey, better "woke" than awake, right?

I don't know. It appears to be a lot more than bumper stickers. I believe some cities have taken funding from the police and transferred the funding to other social priorities. Also, in my opinion the constant war on police since Obama was in office has taken a very heavy toll on police forces around the Country from morale, to retention, to recruiting, to newly entrenched politically correct policies that affect all of the above. We will see where it goes from here. I have a lot of friends that are in law enforcement and I see it in them.

SFC (Join to see) - my point is they've made bumper sticker slogans into policy. "Defund the police" looks good on a repurposed tampon box, but in practice you endanger the very people you say you're trying to "protect from the police".
