Defunding the police was never a real thing, kind of like the ACA death panels, but the right sure likes to rally the base around crazy ideas.

Defunding the Police is one of the craziest ideas the Democrats ever came up with.

The thing is Dems don't care. If they did they would do something. But, this happens in every big Democrat run city. They always end up blaming it on something else (just like one of our down below saying it doesn't take into account DV), and they can not see the root cause of what the problem is which is their policies. They can not admit they are wrong.
