A1C Jeff D.. Thanks for this interesting, little-known bit of history share. Interesting, too, is the point that this was the only time Mexico ever deployed troops "on foreign" soil.

Mexico also sent to troops to San Antonio to assist refugees from Hurricane Katrina in 2005 -not a combat deployment, though.
