SFC (Join to see) - I am the Volunteer Legion Staff Coordinator for the A.L. & S.A.L. in an Indiana prison... so that's why I pay attention to anything Legion related. Plus... I'm a 50 year Legion Member... however, not an active one on the outside.
It's good to put a picture with a name... I think we've sparred a few times... but that's ok... we're all Veterans.

SGT (Join to see) - I’ve been a Legion member for some time now. I didn’t join for some time because I still held a grudge that they didn’t admit Vietnam Veterans at one time, and while not one myself I have many friends that were. While I’m a member, I very rarely get down there. The Boss Lady and I are raising our granddaughter, between that and keeping the place up, well it just takes all my time. I jump on RP every now and then when I can, some days more than others. I do get emails from them and that’s how I saw the blog.

You are right, we are all on the same side. Some take it a bit too seriously, but if they can’t agree to disagree, well for me that’s like Buggs Bunny… I exit stage right. :)

SFC (Join to see) - We are helping raise our 15 year old grandson who has lived with us, with his mother, since his dad died 10 + years ago. With 15 acres... a 25+ year old horse... 30+ year old blind pony... three cats & a dog we stay busy too.

SGT (Join to see) - You got it worse that me. God Bless you. Honestly I wouldn't have it any other way. The Boss Lady and my granddaughter are everything to me.

I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

I joined a number of years ago now but I don't get down there much. I do enjoy the emails I get from them that discuss topics like this blog.
