Many of you have seen the disaster movie A Bridge Too Far. The British did not listen to Dutch intelligence. Two Airborne divisions landed right in the middle of a retreating German Panzer Army. This takes place at about the same time hitting Canadian and Germans fighting in the Netherlands west of Arnhem fighting between islands. This is a Dutch production.
Something to watch on Netflix. When I turn Netflix on, the Forgotten battle was the first thing that popped up.
To this day, the Dutch adore the Canadians. The Germans were really bad on the people and they were starving.
