SSG Robert Mark Odom This should make someone who was bitching because POTUS Biden hadn't nominated anyone yet. I guess all of 45's "Acting" appointments... so he didn't have to get approval... was ok. He could also fire them... like he did with many... & fill another with an "Acting" appointment.

Umm, while they do serve at the pleasure of the president, members of the Joint Chiefs normally serve four year terms. None of them are acting. BTW, anyone appointed by the President can be fired by the president, regardless of whether they are confirmed or not.
