White House rolls out strategy to reduce military, veteran suicide, calling it a 'national...

A program delivered by SoldierStrong, the nonprofit which I co-founded and currently serve as chairman of, deploys virtual reality technology - known as BraveMind - to VA hospitals across the country to treat veterans living with post-traumatic stress and in turn, work to lessen the rate of suicide within the population. Because of my personal investment in the mental health of veterans, I am heartened that the White House is looking to make the same important investment with the recent roll out of their strategy to reduce military and veteran suicide. I pray that everyday citizens, nonprofits; local, state and national government, and public-private partnerships continue to work together to offer support and solutions that make a positive impact.
