We may be out of Afghanistan, but the repercussions for the way we left will be with us for a decade or more.
1) There is an entire Country that is run by terrorists that have been fighting for over 20 years. What happens when you have 10s of thousands of terrorists with no war inside their borders to fight, no money, and few jobs? Answer, they go to other Countries to fight
2) Al-Qaeda and ISIS had a presence inside Afghanistan and was growing in strength. Outside insurgents have been flowing into the Country for a year or more adding to their strength. The use of an entire Country as a training, staging, and sanctuary for terrorists means they will grow and use it as a base of operations
3) The US left over 100,000 weapons and vehicles behind that the terrorists will use against others and us
4) If you look at what happened in the aftermath of our leaving Iraq, ISIS spreading throughout the region, Europe, and into the US, this will likely happen again.
