When you look at the picture of the prosecutor with his booger hook on the trigger, in the courtroom, you understand he has taken his firearm lessons from Alex Baldwin. The prosecutor also stated that Rittenhouse should have allowed the mod to beat him. It appears, the prosecution is trying to lose.

Maj Robert Thornton While I can support your concept, it MUST be noted that prior to this, he had the sherriff inspect and clear the weapon AND announced that the weapon had been cleared. I still disagree with having the finger in the trigger, but it was nowhere NEAR as irresponsible as folks are making it out to be.

SFC Casey O'Mally if a sheriff declares a weapon clear and safe, then hands you the weapon, would you have your finger on the trigger or consider the gun safe? I don't think so, neither would I

SFC Casey O'Mally I would not. But had I been on that courtroom, I also would not have been in fear because the weapon had been cleared. I am not saying it was a good idea. Just not as irresponsible as people are making it out to be.

SFC Casey O'Mally we will have to agree to disagree, since IMHO he violated 2 of the most important rules of gun safety.

The prosecutor should have been arrested on the spot for pointing the weapon at the jury with his finger on the trigger. From a person who doesn’t usually curse: What an A hole.

LTC Dave Leppanen -If that is the case then the police can explain recklessness endangerment to this lawyer while they are booking him. We have millions of people now who watched this, thinking it is acceptable behavior.
