Probably because you wear heavier shoes when "hiking". The do it is more important than where you do it!

LTC Eugene Chu I love hiking the wilderness of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. I have hiked many of the almost 900 trail miles. Great to get out and relax your mind for a while while taking in nature's glory.
