Um...do they normally invite children's show characters to CPAC? Aren't they busy getting the golden idol of Trump ready?

I don't understand Republicans. I don't think Sesame Street ever planned on or asked to attend CPAC. This is just as absurd as the video I saw of people breaking their TV while Biden was airing on it. Or the people who burned their Nike merchandise.

I don't know much about Ppl burning Nike products but it just might be Ppl not supporting slave labor and making a statement in doing so. You'd think the NBA would take a stand but their hooked on the money. So they turn a blind eye. Apparently it doesn't bother most of the Ppl here either. Go figure selective indignation there not black or it isn't happening here. So it's ok. Ether you have morals and values or you don't.

SPC Les Darbison - It was after Colin Kaepernick knelt during the anthem and then got a deal with Nike in one of their ads - conservatives burned all their already purchased Nike gear "in protest." Google is free...

I have no clue what the rest of your comment is supposed to mean.

Republicans being unaware that these are fictional characters is surprising, completely unsurprising and explains quite a bit.
