I'm not defending the military, but why is there no mention of the fathers, as in child support?
I remember a couple of the guys in my squad that were married with kids and not having lunch (probably other meals also) I would go through the mess hall a second time and get a to go box for them some days, there was soo much food there but they could not access it.
