When I was stationed in Pirmasens, I lived on the economy. About the time I was out processing Germany, on orders to Ft. Ord, I received an impossible final electric bill. Impossible in that they said I had used enough electricity to run a factory for months since the last time they came and read the meter. For any one that hasn't been stationed, with family, in Germany, part of the out processing stuff to do, is confirming You don't owe any money in country. Which ever office that's in, the guy on the other side of the desk looked at the bill and said there was no way I could owe that much money to the power company and checked off that block on my paperwork and sent Me on my merry way.
