My hunch is Joe Biden and his leftist minions have put pressure on Dodge to kill this program. It's strange because I just posted a video of the Dodge jailbreak Hellcat at the LA Auto Show?
Different versions of this model from 707 horsepower on a have been around since 2015 so this actually has been a rebirth of the muscle car pair up with a vehicle that can still get 20 miles per gallon, pull a boat and do a hundred 35 miles per hour with your whole family in the car. Just kidding, but the car could do that even though it would be unsafe.
I wonder if we have backlash if we have to make these batteries in the USA instead of getting them from China?
I am all for electric cars but I'm also for choice. If I want to drive my car from Canada to Florida, I don't want to spend a few hours a day or even 45 minutes quit charging my vehicle when I can just grab a burger, go to the restroom, fill up my tank on my car and drive another 400 miles. I just think that the left wants to push this so fast. Look how Canada makes 40% of its economy from oil and energy and I'm sure the USA it's probably at least 25%. We should let the markets decide on their own instead of forcing Banks to not invest in energy loans anymore to oil companies. That sounds like big brother to me and I smell AOC and Bernie Sanders behind the puppet master of Joe Biden.

You can order it all wheel drive but it's a lot more. Oh by the way, they do offer a Dodge Challenger 4 by 4 call the Dodge Challenger GT.
The same 300 horsepower V6 but all-wheel drive. You can't get a V8 with it.

I have my doubts that it'll actually happen anytime soon.
This is a huge honey hole for Dodge right now and they won't walk away from it anytime to soon.
I worked for the Mopar Division of Chrysler for 14 years, this came up in the past when Obama was president. Once Biden is gone, and I personally think he's going to be a one jump chump, this will be forgotten about.

LTC Stephen Conway - Oh, that was a huge pet peeve when I worked for Mopar. They actually had a policy of $5 fine if you referred to SureGrip as posi or positive traction.
Mopar did use Dana 60's but the Challengers with V8 should be American Axel 230mm.
