I know Top. It's disgusting. I served with a lot of people in 25 years and nobody acted the way they do since Trump. We were all Green Machine and we kept the faith with each other.

No this started after 9/11 primarily. Trump didn't help. Nor does Boebert. But let's be realistic 9/11 triggered a lot of Muslim hate.

Joseph Cristofaro - I don't hate religion. I find it stupid and pointless and state that on religious posts on here. But I don't hate people who believe in a religion. I dislike anyone who uses religion to harm others or try to oppress others though. If someone believes in religion have fun. Many of my family are Christians. I don't hate them at all. I roll my eyes at their religious posts sure. I'd never attack, threaten, assault, etc anyone because of a belief in imaginary things.

While you may not personally attack, threaten, or assault anyone, over religious beliefs, you and others give voice to those who will.
The ones who hate others based on their beliefs (or race, sex, age, status..), are fueled by statements that echo what they feel inside. This is particularly so in weak minded or mentally ill individuals.
Consider the police officers that were executed such as:
-The 2 New York officers who were sitting in their vehicle when B/M Ismaaiyl Brinsley killed them
-A Texas deputy was filling up his vehicle at a gas pump when B/M Shannon Miles walked up behind him and shot him
-5 Dallas Police Officers were killed by B/M Micah X Johnson when he ambushed them
In each case, there were no previous known interactions between the officers and the suspects. The officers were not involved in any enforcement activity at the time. The suspects targeted the officers based on their profession. At the time, there was a lot of negative news media regarding police officers. People were denouncing police, advocating for violence against them, social media contained countless messages advocating attacks and even death.
