Which is more than what usually happens - nothing. Also, involuntary manslaughter is a felony in Michigan, punishable with up to 15 years in prison.

Yea, the sad part is nothing is going to bring those kids back. It's such a horrible situation, part of me wants nothing to happen to the parents and part of me wants them to be made an example of. What to do with those guns? If you lock them up, you probably won't be able to get to them when you need them, if you don't lock them up, something like this might happen.

It's tragic for all parties involved. Thank God we have a justice system to sort it all out, Judges to apply written law, prosecutors to prosecute, defense council to represent defendants and juries to deliberate and pronounce verdicts.
We need legal professionals and lay peers to prevent us from being the mob we yearn to be.

It will be interesting to see how Law and Order republican judges react to this little 2nd amendment fool with his probably Rittenhouse self-defense Legal Murder claim.

SFC Randy Hellenbrand RE: Your comment ‘Law and Order republican judges…’
In Michigan this case will be heard in a Circuit Court as it is clearly all felony charges.
57 Circuit court and 276 district court judges are elected to terms of six years.
Michigan is one of 12 states that uses nonpartisan elections to select judges and does not use retention elections for subsequent terms.
On the Michigan Circuit courts...
The circuit courts hear the more serious criminal cases. In addition, they are the appellate court for cases heard in the district courts. There are 57 circuit courts in the State of Michigan, which have original jurisdiction over all civil suits where the amount contended in the case exceeds $25,000 and all criminal cases involving felonies. Circuit courts are also the only trial courts in the State of Michigan which possess the power to issue equitable remedies. Circuit courts have appellate jurisdiction from district and municipal courts, as well as from decisions and decrees of state agencies. Most counties have their own circuit court, but sparsely populated counties often share them.

The 2nd Amendment is a FEDERAL issue between the Federal Government and ‘We the People’. Stay tuned to SCOTUS for updates.
In Michigan he is clearly not allowed to possess a handgun (MUST be at least 18) and meet other criteria too.
RE: Your comment ‘Rittenhouse self-defense Legal Murder claim’
The differences:
Ethan Crumbley - Location… A School setting at Oxford High School, Royal Oak, MI
Kyle Rittenhouse – Location… A rioting community in Kenosha, WI
Ethan Crumbley – Role… Active shooter targeting unarmed students and staff
Kyle Rittenhouse – Role… Armed citizen protecting property and a misguided ‘Render aid patrol/stroll’ beyond the perimeter
Kyle Rittenhouse - The trial in it's entirety shows it was clearly self Defense
Ethan Crumbley – The trial will (i'm certain) show he is Guilty as charged
Crumbley Parents - We will have to see... (i suspect a mixed result)
