Is it me, but does anyone else find this article disorganized and lacking much substance? Maybe my perspective is different because I was a tanker. What is the velocity, range, purpose, and functionality?

1SG Dan Capri - How does a tank round go from being a bunker buster to shooting down missiles? How does the tank detect missiles? Missiles can be very hard to detect. My guess is the tank tracks the missiles because inputs are required for the ballistic computer to come up with a ballistic solution.

1SG Dan Capri - What I find incredible with the new tanks is they have a range of 3 miles and can hit a target in 3 seconds at that range. The rounds are designed to penetrate 23 inches of steel.

1SG Dan Capri - It is quite amazing. Our tank rounds when it impacts an enemy tank, instantaneously upon contact, creates spald. Spald is sharp metal fragments that kills everyone in the tank except perhaps the driver.
