Even being off testosterone has a minimum impact on muscle mass (5% reduction) and no effect on cardiac and pulmonary function. A women’s low normal cardiac function is pathological in a male. The fact that women preform at a lower level than trans men is recognized by the British sports council.

LTC David Brown - Honestly, I know very little about all this transgender stuff, but if someone is born a male, he has a physical advantage over females. Just because he "identifies" as a woman shouldn't mean jack shit in sports, IMHO, they should not be allowed to compete as a female, they are still in a male body. It would make absolutely no sense to let that person compete against females. None! If a male wants to live their life as a woman, I see no harm in that, but competing in sports is a whole other matter.
