Ah, the Grand Canyon. It was awesome last year, no tourists so we had the place to ourselves. Downside is that my favorite Canyon restaurant is closed due to lack of tourism. The snow is spectacular, although this year we went before the snow fell. With Covid and school, you do what you can when you can.
I have the disabled Veteran pass, free admission to National Parks. I also have the Arizona state parks pass, and could have a free hunting and/or fishing license. Since I’m a hiking/camping/outdoors/National Parks kind of guy, I’ve taken full advantage of the fact that I get in free with my carload of family. I want to instill in my son the love of the outdoors, so it’s a great fit.
If you don’t have a pass, just ask at your local park, or check out the NP website for details.
