If they were looking for truth, they would hear both sides, if they were being honest they would not need a big time producer and teleprompters carefully hidden from camera view. If they were actually trying to do anything but deceive and distract, they would dhow fill statements and not a bunch of edited clips strung together. PO1 Kevin Dougherty You seem to forget that all those who could provide conflicting viewpoint or testimony have refused to comply with requests or subpoenas to do so. If their sworn testimony would be so helpful in clearing this up why don't they testify before the committee?

You seem to have forgotten that, for the most part, for them do do so would have, at best, set precedence that would have weakened the independence of the Executive Branch. Also, given the makeup of the committee, any prudent person would have good reason to question any chance of a fair investigation. This televised circus has amply demonstrated that they would have been correct with it's carefully edited clips and scripted comments.
