These Generals are absolutely ridiculous.

And they are also partisan, and using their rank for politics. The SHOULD be facing discipline for this. But Generals are above the UCMJ, as we all know.

Here we go with Trump again. 1) He left office 20 JAN without issue 2) 6 JAN came no where close to changing anything. The Presidential election was completed at the state level and the 535 electoral votes came from those states, period. Had all 535 and the VP been killed that day, NOTHING WOULD HAVE CHANGED. Biden still would have won and the states still would have sent delegates to confirm his presidential win. Need to get past this, period. Now our real concern is not who is running but how it goes about a winner. 2024 could be Bugs Bunny v. Elmer Fudd and if one of them is winning on election night and a week later a different one wins, that is where the concern needs to be. How 2020 went down could easily be bloody in 2024 regardless what party wins.
