I watched the video. This is garbage and Dr. Kristin Anderson is not only a joke but downright dangerous. CRT is a social dogma that disregards treating people...all people with dignity and respect.

What makes her a joke or dangerous? The fact that you disagree with her? If you disagree with her premise, prove her wrong.

CMSgt (Join to see) - Your welcome... just because I post something doesn't mean I'm in bed with it. Right, wrong, indifferent it gave me "another" perspective on CRT. Indoctrination isn't good... however teaching our true history is important to me. SFC Casey O'Mally

SrA John Monette -
CRT is a theory, it is in the name. If it was proven, it would be called CRP.
If you disagree with someone, you don't have to prove them wrong. The burden is on the person pushing a theory to prove it is right. If the theory doesn't meet a person's worldview, what they have experienced or learned, it may or may not be valid on an individual level.
1) Among the CRT concepts, it states there is privilege based on race. This is very broad and does not sufficiently allow for individuals or location. Some whites may receive privilege based on their family and wealth. This occurs with blacks and Hispanics as well. If you travel to areas such as Africa, China, India, Mexico, or countless other Countries where whites are not the predominant race, then they have little "privilege". It may be more correct to say that privilege "may" be obtained by sharing the same race/ethnicity as the majority population of an area.
2) A CRT concept is that everyone is racist. The problem with this is many who believe that, think everyone but them is the racist.
3) A CRT concept is equality of results. Most people believe in equal chances of success while knowing everyone will not succeed. CRT would change that so regardless of how hard someone works; everyone would receive the same results.
4) CRT supports social justice. This means, not justice based on the facts of a matter, but by skin color.
The list goes on............................

It's so funny. I saw a video clip of a reporter asking conservatives, "do you hate CRT, and of course they would say yes, and the reporter would ask them why, and they mumble something about Communist, then the reporter would ask them what CRT was and not a one of them had a clue.

Some folks just spew back what they're told, many tend to lean right.

SFC Casey O'Mally - The host gave her long list of Psychology degrees, and she is interviewing the author of the book they are discussing. Who could be more competent to discuss the book than the author?

SFC Casey O'Mally - I understand, but even so, I have asked several people in here what CRT is, and not a single person has come anywhere close to giving me what the definition is, not ever close.

Grouping people into one group based on their race is bad. But we're gonna do it to white people and that's good.
See? It's not that hard to explain CRT....

PFC David Tomlinson - That's exactly what CRT teaches, no matter how much you want to deny it. You seem to take the same understanding of the leftists where you confuse equity with equality. They're fundamentally different in their outcomes. And the leftists seem to think that just because someone was discriminated against in the past, it's okay to discriminate against someone else now.
Most people think that people shouldn't be put in to groups based on the color of their skin and yet that's exactly what CRT teaches.

Sgt (Join to see) - Thanks for your opinion, professor. You seem to be confused about my post, all aspects of it. I am by no means a leftist. I don't want to discriminate against anyone. I want to learn from out mistakes. Do you?

You're wasting your time. It's called liberal logic. If you don't accept everything they say, then in their view, you either don't understand the topic or you are biased.

PFC David Tomlinson - Sure. But learning from mistakes means you don't make the same ones but only for loftier ideals. That's what the left is doing, it's only justified now in the name of "equity," which is in direct contradiction to equality.
