A huge problem I see if the left does not want to do the legwork they just want to pass easy bills that look good but do little. Leg work I mean as an example is mental health. Has anyone ever compiled a list of mental health conditions that are prohibited from buying and owning a fire arm? You cannot just say every mental health condition as that would hurt veterans and transgenders alike. Once the list is compiled, how do you overcome the ACLU's challenge in preventing it from being in NICS database? How does it get to NICS, can only a primary doc make the diagnosis or does it need to be a psychologist that takes away a Constitutional right? To make meaningful change is going to take work and a lot of it.
