How can that be? This is a pandemic of the unvaccinated? With 70% + vaccinated, how can the positive rate possibly be that high?

Can it be? No.... But......

Maybe the vaccines don't do shit to stop the spread.

But then we wouldn't be able to call them vaccines, would we.

Unless ...... Quick! Change the definition of vaccine!

The ignorance is strong here. The CDC has only been saying that getting the vaccine CAN REDUCE the risk of spread and doesn't eliminate the spread since 2020. Quick! Get the anti-science/anti-vax folks some science books.

1SG (Join to see) Nothing you just posted or typed refutes one word of what I said. But *I'm* the ignorant one.

CDC, Fauci, and Biden have all been preaching that the only way to stop COVID is to get people vaccinated. We have people vaccinated and COVID is raging. Which means that it is *not* a pandemic of the unvaccinated, it is just a pandemic. The vaccines are NOT stopping the spread. Nothing in your blurb or what you typed refutes this.

If it doesn't prevent infection, and it doesn't stop the spread, how is it a vaccine? Answer is that it is not. But we are still calling them vaccines, because, in true Orwellian fashion, we changed the definition of a vaccine. Vaccine doesn't mean what we think it means, it means what the government tells us it means, so a vaccine is now anything given prior to infection that helps fight infection.

And here is an article about the CDC changing the definition

https://www.miamiherald.com/news/coronavirus/article254111268.html

According to the CDC a vaccine is *now* "A preparation that is used to stimulate the body’s immune response against diseases. Vaccines are usually administered through needle injections, but some can be administered by mouth or sprayed into the nose."

https://www.cdc.gov/vaccines/vac-gen/imz-basics.htm

Since Biden mandated that vaccines are free... I wonder, can I start demanding the federal government to pay for Vitamin C supplements? It is a preparation, it stimulates immune response against disease, and is administered by mouth. It checks all the blocks. The CDC even removed the "specific" from the original definition, so I don't have to prove that my Vitamin C supplement fights any specific disease, just that is stimulates the response against diseases.

A final note.... if the CDC only thinks these injections CAN fight the spread, and will not say that they DO fight the spread, why the hell is the government mandating them? Should I be advertising that I CAN complete a marathon? I have never done one, and I never will. But I CAN.
