"Any troops who have tested positive, or come in close contact with someone positive, for COVID-19 will now self-quarantine for at least five days, according to guidance released Friday.
The guidance, which also applies to Defense Department civilians and contractors, will apply to both asymptomatic and symptomatic cases, in line with recent guidelines published by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention."

I don't know what that means. Oh 14 days? It hasn't been 14 days for awhile. Only for unvaccinated or those who refuse to get tested had to stay 14 days.
JBLM started this earlier this week - and I thought it was because the covid testing sites are overwhelmed because of the surge in cases everywhere. It's apparently been a 3 hour wait here to get tested recently. Lines out to the street...

SFC (Join to see) - Why bother? You're allowed to go to work now if you're positive. And the CDC just dropped their "quarantine requirement" down to 5 days as long as you wear a mask. Even the cloth ones that the CDC says doesn't work against Covid.
