The culture in which you live, or in this case work, allows you to act or not act according to the situation. I agree with her in that Facebook can be a business that promotes a lot of good so shouldn't be destroyed or shut down. The only question is how will this be done on a non-biased way?

You identified the million-dollar question! If we can figure that one out, we will have heaven on earth. One way or another different sides of an issue will have an advantage/disadvantage; somehow truth has to figure into it, and that's difficult because truth can be many things to many people.

I have barely used FB for at least 6-8 months, I do miss some of my friends but it had really caused me to feel depressed, and is just not worth it to me. Honestly even here somedays is to much with the constant bickering about politics.

I have never been on it. My wife keeps in touch with some family, but she takes frequent breaks from it because FB is such a downer. From the little bit she shows me there are only bragards and mental people on it. One can ask: why are my wife and family on it? Please don't tell her I said that. :)
