I find this amusing and sad. 42 years ago this was extreme hyperbole mocking the left. Today it is reality.

It's tragic that real history that homosexuality and transgender sexuality has always existed as taboo for centuries. Today's human culture finally generally recognize it as something that can't be ignored just cause it violates one's personal beliefs. Much like interracial and cross ethic and cultural breeding was viewed as taboo. Or women doing anything outside of homemaker and childbearing was taboo.
I love Monty Python and in no way were they making a mockery of LGBTQ rights as being implicated here.
